According to UGC there are several fake universities which are present in all over the country. Students and parents must be aware of them and avoid availing the education provided by them.
There are universities which are running in the establishments which are makeshift, yet they are able to award professional qualification like Engineering degree. And there are universities like Symbiosis who are running professional courses which are not recognized by UGC or AICTE , yet they are more successful in getting right kind of placements for their students.
Then there are many universities which are recognized in a specific state but dare to run off campus study centers and try to make money by increasing the number of students. There are many universities or educational societies which are running controversial courses which haven’t got any real value, yet they are able to make money by making false promises of great placement and allowing everybody to enter the course.
